Lorenzo Martelli
Born in 1998 in the Abruzzo region, tenor Lorenzo Martelli has won several
competitions, including First Prize in the “Emerging Voices” category and
the Audience Prize at AsLiCo 2023. He graduated in Opera Singing from the
“A. Casella” Conservatory in L’Aquila and furthered his training at the
Accademia del Carlo Felice, Bottega Donizetti, and the Accademia of the
Maggio Musicale Fiorentino. He has performed at major venues such as the
Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Teatro Comunale di
Ferrara, Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, and the Opéra Royal de Wallonie.
His roles include Edgardo, Tamino, Don Ottavio, Ernesto, Monostatos,
Rinuccio, and Fenton. He has worked with conductors such as Zubin Mehta,
Daniele Gatti, and Giampaolo Bisanti.
